The “Robot Programming Education for Fun and Learning” program was launched in 2018, and the number of participating schools has been increasing. In 2023, the first competition among 10 schools was held in cooperation with the City of Lalitpur. Students from each school assembled and programmed their own robots on the spot. The students worked earnestly to drop and retrieve obstacles and were happy or sad when they went off course or completed the race. We were able to see the achievements of their programming education as the students discovered and corrected problems on the spot when their robots went off course, etc. The schools with outstanding results were presented with medals and certificates of commendation to celebrate their achievements. Later in the day, we paid a courtesy call on the Mayor of Lalitpur to report the results of the Robotics Council.
